Course Information

Have you ever thought about how you could incorporate 3D into your workflow but don’t quite know how? This course is designed exactly for you to lose once and for all the fear that all artists have to face 3D and take a step further in our workflow. The non-photorealistic render ( NPR )  is a 3D preview that makes the 3D look like a concept or a drawing but in 3 dimensions. Companies are requesting more and more artists and with this course you can offer your clients a much more complete service because apart from the sketches and designs you will be able to offer them your sketch in 360º in a literal way. This course will be taught by the artist Rubén Sotomayor, who has worked for major companies such as Netflix or Spin Master applying this methodology for new projects. With more than 8 years of experience and already several editions of Non-photorealistic render courses, this course is fully designed for concept artists or visual developers to incorporate these new cutting-edge tools in the industry to their day to day.

''Ruben is an awesome teacher and he provided me with really helpful constructive feedback. His insistence on having us work off of orthographic images of our character designs was a really good starting point, and the process of using modifiers to create shapes instead of by sculpting. Overall I think this class was a great success for me as a beginner student of both sculpting and NPR. ''
